Windsor Fitzhugh Apartments

I'm a few months into my lease and need to pass along thanks to Windsor. This is my third and best apartment in Dallas. Third time is definitely the charm! Management is extremely caring and fast to resolve concerns. I have to also recognize the kind cleaning staff as they keep the community looking excellent. While Dallas and apartment living inevitably come with noise disturbances - I have minimal issues. All my neighbors are respectful with noise (and friendly too in passing). I see myself living here the foreseeable future and recommend it to others.

The fire alarm went off one time when a pipe burst about 5 months ago. Since then, there have been roughly 7 times it has gone off while I was at home. No rhyme or reason, just goes off for 3-5 minutes then shuts off most of the time. Mail room is not up to par. I’ve had packages delivered but they are no where to be found within 30 minutes of getting a delivery notification. I’ve even had a package stolen from my front door when it was there for less than 1 hour. The power has gone out twice for more than 4 hours, one time leaving my kitchen outlets, dishwasher, and garbage disposal out of commission for a week. Otherwise the power has blipped about 5 times now resetting the clocks but no other major disruptions. The windows and doors facing the pool were said to be soundproof so you can’t hear the music when there are summertime parties- that was a lie. You can hear people having conversations at the pool and sitting on their patios, so when there’s loud music being played, you hear everything. There are more reserved parking spots on hold than being used so that limits a lot of spots to park in since we don’t know if a reserved spot is actually being utilized. The call box at the front door doesn’t even work so if you have friends come over, have any deliveries after hours, or Uber eats/Doordashers, you have to go down to the leasing office to let them in rather than giving them a code to come or buzzing them in.

I work here for Recycle Now. A wonderful company, I might add. So I thought I would also advertise for the apartments themselves. So I'm showing the view from the fifth floor garage parking. It's lovely. So if you lived here, you would see this as well. Isn't it lovely? I highly recommend living here. The people are friendly. The amenities are outstanding. And the view.... Well you can't beat it! Check it out!!!!

Overpriced with management that does not listen or care about valid concerns, especially those that revolve around tenant safety. Doors and garage gates are frequently left open due to them breaking so easily and management does not bother fixing anything in a long term manner, resulting in homeless people being found frequently inside the garage, theft of personal property, and shootings involving tenants. You can tell that management is blind, deaf, and incompetent by how many reviews are on here citing the exact same safety concerns going on for years. Common hallways smell like sewage, garbage, and animal excrement. Valet trash pickup does not happen daily despite what is promised. Unfortunately it also costs an exorbitant amount to break your lease and management makes your life difficult when even moving between units. Save yourself the trouble and avoid.
